After completing her training at Groote Schuur Hospital, and qualifying as Registered Nurse in 1985, Louise focused on pediatric orthopedics. Thereafter, she branched into a more administrative role in the private hospital sector. In 2015, she realized her passion for the care the elderly as well as palliative care. Before joining CPOA in 2017, Louise managed a 50-bed retirement home in Cape Town and was instrumental in opening a 60 bed sub-acute facility. Wanting to progress her career path, Louise joined the CPOA Head Office as a chief professional nurse, overseeing and managing half of the company’s Care Centres.
